According to the Holiday Inn website, the hotel is currently under renovation since the company bought out the large hotel from Sheraton.

Their website quotes: “The hotel is undergoing improvement works during 01 June till 01 August 2007. There will be drilling under taken from 06 June till 15 July 2007 on 9AM to 5PM daily basis”

Just a little word of warning if you are planning on staying at this hotel over the next couple of months. It will be interesting to see the changes they are making as some have certainly said recently that the decor could do with a little modernising and we will certainly keep you posted and let you know when work has been completed and hope to publish a full review of the hotel soon after.
