EyeJot.com offers “Video Messaging in a Blink!”. Basically what this means is that instead of typing away at a keyboard trying to send email to tell people back home how your getting on on your travels you can simply create a short video on the fly and send this to your friends and family instead. What’s great about it is there is nothing to install and it’s Free! You can be set up in minutes and it’s very quick to record, upload and send.

All over Thailand many internet cafe’s have webcams, so while your away why not give this a go the next time your contacting home. It’s great fun, dynamic and we’re sure those back at home will be even more jealous of your travels.

There are services like Skype’s video messaging service as well as the other messaging players, but when you are away it’s not always easy to make sure your all online at the same time, especially if there is a big time difference so EyeJot is certainly a great option as it can be picked up at anytime.
