TravelSpeak was established to fill a gap in the world of online travel. There are some fantastic printed resources for travel but there isn't a concise and freely available resource in one place on the web.

Started in early 2006, TravelSpeak's name was put together from that fact that once people travel, they love to speak about it and share their experiences. This website is aimed at facilitating that. We try to gain your opinions, experience and publish it on our website for other travellers to benefit from.

Being an independent company we are able to offer impartial advice and information to all.

Our work has a strong emphasis towards responsible travel. We believe that with just a little pre trip research you can make more informed decisions when you travel.

We know our stuff. To help you pick your perfect hotel, what attractions to visit or what tour to go on; simply browse through our online travel guide with its comprehensive travel information.

TravelSpeak staff have lived and travelled through Chiang Mai extensively, so there will always be someone on hand with the know-how and experience to help you. If that means advising you against a particular hotel or tour we offer and sending you somewhere else to book then that's what we'll do. We'd rather make no sale than the wrong sale.

Travel guide websites can sometimes be confusing. Whether you just need to find a hotel, or want to find out where to eat in town we will make sure you can browse our website any day of the week quickly and easily and if you need a little extra help then try asking us and others in our online travel forum.

No staff or travel helpers get paid commission for recommending and selling you a particular product. It means we're always fair and impartial and will help you plan the best visit for you.

We are a for-profit organisation whose aim is to strengthen the travel industry in Chiang Mai by giving back to the community. We pledge to put 5% of our profits back into the local community to help preserve the culture and environment.
